Inventor
Professor Yang Zhenhua is a famous female scientist and inventor in China.
Yang Zhenhua was once a teacher in Fujian Agricultural University as an associate professor of genetics and Director in the Biological Engineering Institution. She was recruited as a professor in Zhongshan University and a researcher in Xiamen University. In 1986, she was awarded a labor model in the National Education System and won the medal for ‘Teacher of the People’ awarded by the State Education Commission.
In the initial period after the reform, Yang Zhenhua was one of the scientists who opened up new and private high-tech companies to convert scientific research results to productivity. Yang Zhenhua was engaged in business in 1987 and produced ‘851 super nutrition liquid’ via cooperation in Beijing. In 1988, she founded Fuzhou Zhenhua 851 Biological Engineering Research Development Controlling Company. In 1990, she opened Fuzhou Chia Tai Zhenhua 851 Health Care Products Co. Ltd, a joint venture with Chia Tai Group in Thailand. Under the encouragements of the Party and the government, Yang Zhenhua went global in 1990 and founded Beso Biological Research, Inc. and Pentagenic Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in the US.
In 1996, Pentagenic Pharmaceuticals, Inc. with Yang Zhenhua as the president, successfully procured all shares of Chia Tai Group in Fuzhou Chia Tai Zhenhua 851 Health Care Products Co., Ltd. and founded Fujian Zhenhua 851 Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. that carried out joint stock reform in 2000. While Yang Zhenhua carefully carries out research on anti-cancer drugs in the US, she also successfully brought ‘Yang Zhenhua851’ products to the international market.
In November, 1998, Yang Zhenhua proclaimed the new research results of ‘SBA, a new anti-cancer substance’ in Los Angeles, US. In April, 1999, after she published a treatise in the 90th Annual Meeting of the American Cancer Society, the new drug against cancer drew attention among global scientists and major drug stores.
